FATMA, written by talented screenwriter-director Özgür Önurme and produced by Başak Abacıgil and Idea Film depicts an ordinary house cleaner’s process to reinvent herself. Burcu Biricik portrays Fatma, and the series features many established actors such as Uğur Yücel, Mehmet Yılmaz Ak, Hazal Türesan, Olgun Toker, Gülçin Kültür Şahin, Deniz Hamzaoğlu and Çağdaş Onur Öztürk.
Fatma (35) is an ordinary house cleaner. Her husband Zafer disappears shortly after he is released from prison. As Fatma sets out to search for Zafer, she commits an unexpected murder. With Zafer’s murky connections learning about this murder, Fatma has no choice but to keep killing in order to survive. It becomes a ritual for Fatma, where she can avenge everything she has experienced in her life.
